Wow...this heresy is nearly unforgivable! Though I could never do with less than a mac pro with dual quad cores I can't ever imagine myself switching over to the dark side like you did. I could/can never enjoy my vaunted creative suite 2,3, or 4 running around without its background on, nor void of its freeing right mouse click...needless to say the 64-bit goodness I have with Photoshop CS4 on my Vista 64 with 16 gigs of RAM...can't have that on a mac till CS5! As for viruses, I take comfort knowing that the world is so filled with PCs that the malcontents seek to destroy them. What joy is there for a malcontent hacker to create a virus for the mac and have it bring down elementary schools and art departments worldwide, when they can create one for the PC and bring down the world's financial institutions, academia, gaming, government, ad infinitum? When it comes to mac elitism...well lets just say that there should be no feeling of elitism attached to a computer that is so simple "it just works", has zero ability to be upgraded because its makers know their end users are mostly incapable of doing so, is all the rage with hippies and elementary school teachers, tattooed and pierced "art" students, and has just one mouse button - not due to simplicity of use, but rather the simplicity of the user.

As you can see, you were not the last digital artist using a PC, we are legion!
