The Creative Mom

I wear many hats… wife, mom, illustrator, designer, photographer, writer, friend, twin sister, daughter, military spouse… They’re all different, but they’re all nice and snug. I wouldn’t trade in a single one of them.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a master’s degree in Medical Illustration. I was raised in Texas, but like most military families we don’t stay put for long.  I do commissioned original artwork, especially pen and ink and black and white pieces, and web design for interested clients. A note about this site…  This site is run using Wordpress.  I am currently using a version of the template Options by Justin Tadlock which I modified to be a little more cute and snuggly (sorry Justin).  If I didn’t have a one year old, a dry erase board full of to do lists and the need to sleep, I would learn a little more code and make an original Wordpress theme myself.  For tons of free Wordpress themes and info on the Wordpress community visit www.wordpress.org
